Practice makes perfect

No such thing.  Then why does the word perfect even exist as a word?  I’m not arguing that the concept of perfect exists.  I’m asking a fundamental question.  If perfect doesn’t exist, why would there be a word in existence that most people inherently know means.  If you ask someone on the street what perfect means, you’re most likely to get a similar answer.  A consensus for the definition of a word that explains a phenomenon that may or may not exist.

I translated the first line of four religious texts.  God is love.
